ESSKA SHOES

Keeping up with the shoe-boot trend with blocky heels and cut-out uppers, we love the new autum / winter range of shoes from Esska
The brand was established by former architect and Cordwainers graduate, Souraya Karami in 2006 with a dream to make shoes that were feminine, comfortable, and not over designed.
Our 3 favorite styles this season are Milo, Moon and Maya.

FINSK - FINNISH STYLE

I first saw the ladies shoe brand FINSK in Faith shops a year or so ago and admired their unique and unusual sculptural look. Finnish born, London based designer, Julia Lundsten launched the brand in 2004 and uses nature as her inspiration. These styles are from the SS collection, so we are impatiently waiting to see what goodies the Winter 09/10 range will bring.

SPEEDO BIOFUSE (KATAHAMA) FLIP FLOP

The new Speedo flip flop

reminds us of kids LEGO bricks. The design has an air of the Nike Free sole about it; ergonomic, flexible and comfy but with a touch of high tech.
It will set you back £30, but with a multitude of colours to choose from we reckon you'll want more than one pair.

CREPE AFFAIR

London High Street Ladies Shoes

After a quick look around Oxford Street at the new shoes for winter, these are some key details we really liked,
- Crepe soles - used on desert boots, wedges and in combination with other materials like wooden heels
- Red - on everything from boots to brogues to heels
- Worn and polished - these brown boots with contrast leather finish have an extra shine on the toe and heel
- Strappy cut-outs - we love these pretty open toed heels (navy and grey) and the flat pump, both with cut out panels
- Laces - thats winter laced up

MEN'S WINTER 09 SHOE TRENDS - OXFORD STREET

Latest Men's shoe photos from the London High Street

- Office, Top Shop and Schuh.
Buckles, straps and even a take on the 60's Beatles blocky heel for formals.
A return of the monkey boot and the monk shoe, with ankle boots a Men's shoe wardrobe must for AW09.
Classic styles like brogues take a quirky twist with blocks of colour or a pre-worn creased look.
We like the 'Ask The Missus' simple tan brogue.
